Brief
Khushi Crochets, a small crochet business, is in need of a brand identity catering to its current target audiences' expectations of the brand.Overview
Initially started as a personal passion project, Khushi Crochets is a small business owned and managed by myself where I create and design custom handmade crochet clothing and accessories. Later, as a part of a university brief, I got the chance to expand Khushi Crochets with Khushi Mali as its parent brand.The Logo
The brand logo utilises meticulously morphed crochet essentials and initials with a colour palette curated from existing clothing pieces to represent the brand effectively. I also got to learn and experiment with 3D for the very first time and designed the 3D elements in addition to some of my mockups myself.Patterns, 3D Elements, and Mockups
Khushi Crochets is a modern approach to crocheting, and hence, reflected in the branding strategy with unique 2D and 3D shapes derived from crocheted items and tools.Additionally, rather than using the same mainstream mockups that most designers use for their designs, this helped me create and showcase my designs in their own unique ways which was quite a fun and rewarding experience. As my first attempt at 3D, I was quite satisfied with the results, and will definitely continue learning about it further.
